The PGA's Accenture Match Play Championship is returning to the Ritz Carlton @ Dove Mountain in Marana AZ this year. Dates are Feb 20-26. A one of a kind event on the PGA tour. Yes, I had to read the headline a couple of times myself to make sure I was not misreading it! But according to this article, first published in the New York Times, it is happening. Behind the scenes and without a lot of headlines or fanfare they are evidently picking borrowers that have the Option Arm loans, with very low interest rates, reducing the principle with current rates, giveing the customers about the same monthly payment. Noble Hops - New Pub / Restaurant in Oro Valley

There's a new pub/restaurant in Oro Valley located in a strip mall just east east of Lambert & La Canada. (1335 W Lambert Ln) Noble Hops Gastropub is owned by the brothers that also run the Vera Amore restaurants here in the Tucson area. With 115 beers to choose from, 28 on tap, there is plenty selection. My family and friends ate there last night. My onion/blue cheese burger was scrumptious and cooked to perfection as well as the other burgers that were ordered. I loved the potato slices/frys. I nice change from regular fries with burgers. Service was quick. Had our beers within a few minutes of ordering, had our dinner within 15 minutes of being seated. All in all a great experience and a great addition to Oro Valley! I went at about 4:30 on a Thursday and the place was already packed. I will be back on a regular basis as this is only 5 minutes from home!

I stopped by the Oro Valley library today and coudn't help but notice all the new solar panels that have been installed. Project is not yet complete but a good portion of it is.
Project serves a dual purpose, not only does the solar array generate electric power, but it is also designed to shade the parking spaces! So there will now be tons of shaded parking at Oro Valley City Hall and for Saturday mornings at the Oro Valley Farmers Market. Oro Valley Solar Panels
